Comic Book Crossovers

Funny how fast time flies and how fleeting things are. Just yesterday I was stuck with the stigma of being "single and unattached" and now I am happily in a relationship and not so unattached.

The Sunday visit to the mall turned out to be serendipitous. Fateful. I didn't just get to spend time with my family. I got to spend time with destiny.

It came as a surprise. No warnings. No signs. It just came. The opportunity presented itself and both of us were ready to grab at it. The attraction was mutual. The needs and wants the same. The timing perfect.

Both hearts scarred from previous relationships. Both souls searching for a companion. Now we're ready to begin new chapters in our lives, chapters that cross, just like in comic book crossovers.

  1. Lo and behold... another wounded heart on the way to full recovery... oooooppss... oooooppss... bago magreact, you may say 'well, even before this, i've recovered'... yeah... yeah... but let's face it... recuperation is so much sweeter when a deary offers time for that 'just the two' of you walk by the bay...

    o di ba? saaaaaaaaaaaraaaaaaaap...

here's a witch saying... 'hala - sige - buksan ang puso at bibig sa bagong pag-ibig' !!!

and as for you brattynella... hehehe... joke lang... caution has its value... but sometimes... really... you just have to go with the flow... take what life serves you... and this is what i'm doing... riding the wave... taking what the universe so graciously brings your way....

  7. Hello Glenn! Happy B-day to you too (belated and advanced). I managed to link your blog to mine, so you can see the heading when you next pay mine a visit.
Sure come for to Singapore to party and drink...although I can't guarantee that I will party you guys to sawa...I am a reformed woman. Pa-wine-wine na lang ako ngayon...ha-ha-ha! No more of that hard drinking stuff, bad for the complexion.
Timbre lang mga ka-tropa. Baka tumama sa hindi magandang schedule.

    Love,

The Chronicler's Creed

Where there's water and sun, where there are friends to see or new people to meet, where there's something new to learn, experience, or do, where there's life, there I will be.

LA POESÍA

Y fue a esa edad... Llegó la poesía
a buscarme. No sé, no sé de dónde
salió, de invierno o río.
No sé cómo ni cuándo,
no, no eran voces, no eran
palabras, ni silencio,
pero desde una calle me llamaba,
desde las ramas de la noche,
de pronto entre los otros,
entre fuegos violentos
o regresando solo,
allí estaba sin rostro
y me tocaba.

And it was at that age... Poetry arrived
in search of me. I do not know, I do not know where
it came from, from winter or a river.
I do not know how or when,
no, they were not voices, they were not
words, nor silence,
but from a street I was summoned,
from the branches of night,
abruptly from the others,
among violent fires
or returning alone,
there I was without a face
and it touched me.
