The Show That Calls Me By Name (Updated)

This got me very excited.

Update: I called my friend in GMA to ask about auditions. Unfortunately, I can't since I used to work there and I know the people in the show. Sigh. Oh well, maybe I'll just join the other network's Amazing Race Philippines. Hahaha!

The biggest, most popular and groundbreaking reality show that changed the face of television worldwide is now in GMA.

GMA 7 is in search of contestants from 18 to 60 years old, physically fit and willing to become castaways and endure intense physical and mental challenges in an unfamiliar territory for 39 days.

If you think you got what it takes to be one of the 16 castaways for SURVIVOR PHILIPPINES, go to any of the nationwide auditions in key cities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao:*

* SM Iloilo - May 5 & 6
* SM Cebu - May 8 & 9
* SM Davao - May 12 - 13
* Baguio - May 17-18
* Manila - May 21-23

Be part of the biggest reality show worldwide!

Be the Philippines’ first sole SURVIVOR!

*For exact details in venues and schedules, please wait for further announcements.

The Chronicler's Creed

Where there's water and sun, where there are friends to see or new people to meet, where there's something new to learn, experience, or do, where there's life, there I will be.

Y fue a esa edad... Llegó la poesía
a buscarme. No sé, no sé de dónde
salió, de invierno o río.
No sé cómo ni cuándo,
no, no eran voces, no eran
palabras, ni silencio,
pero desde una calle me llamaba,
desde las ramas de la noche,
de pronto entre los otros,
entre fuegos violentos
o regresando solo,
allí estaba sin rostro
y me tocaba.

And it was at that age... Poetry arrived
in search of me. I do not know, I do not know where
it came from, from winter or a river.
I do not know how or when,
no, they were not voices, they were not
words, nor silence,
but from a street I was summoned,
from the branches of night,
abruptly from the others,
among violent fires
or returning alone,
there I was without a face
and it touched me.
